One of the major factors in skin aging is the loss of collagen protein, which makes up most of the dry matter of the skin.
Most rejuvenation treatments aim, among other things, to stimulate the natural processes of collagen production, and with the progress of science and medicine, there are many options today.
One of such procedures is ResurFX, a laser rejuvenation method that, completely non-invasively, changes the texture of the skin and restores its smoothness from youth. The treatment is quick and easy, and the results can be seen immediately after the treatment.

ResurFX works with the aim of changing the texture of the skin. This is done by the special action of the laser, which achieves its optimal efficiency with a laser beam length of 1565nm.
At this wavelength, the laser beam acts in the deeper layer of the skin – the dermis. By heating the tissues, the formation of new collagen and elastin is stimulated for successful tissue remodeling.
The laser beam also affects the brown pigment melanin and the red pigment oxyhemoglobin to a lesser extent, which, in addition to affecting the texture of the skin, also reduces hyperpigmentation and redness of the skin.
Since the laser does not damage the surface layers of the skin, the procedure will not cause the formation of superficial wounds that would slow down recovery.

The main laser beam consists of as many as 500 microbeams, which provide a more comfortable treatment feeling and faster recovery.
This patent is based on the SaphireCool attachment located on the tip of the laser probe. When acting on the target area, the device fires laser beams, and the SaphireCool attachment simultaneously cools the skin to 10 degrees Celsius.
This method shortened the duration of the treatment, and at the same time made the treatment more comfortable for the client.
In order for the treatment to be more successful, it is necessary to adhere to the following guidelines:
Longer stays in the sun and going to the solarium are not recommended at least 5 weeks before the treatment. Exposure to radiation could make the skin more sensitive and prone to burns and more intense laser reactions.
Avoid applying creams and other cosmetic products with retinol for at least 5 days before the treatment. Retinol could enhance the laser reaction and slow down recovery after treatment.
We recommend that you come to the treatment in clothes that you will not have to put on after the treatment, exposing the skin to additional friction from the fabric. Coming for the treatment would be best in a shirt or blouse that you can unbutton and take off without irritating the skin.
Before starting the treatment, we will thoroughly clean the skin area. We will apply an analgesic cream that will soften the sensation on the skin to make the treatment as comfortable as possible. We also use the Zimmer device to cool the skin at the same time.
Once the cream starts to work, we use ResurFX to broadcast laser pulses to the desired area.
During the treatment, you may feel tingling and a slight burning sensation, without major discomfort or pain. Although we use the device for 15 minutes, the whole procedure takes between 30-45 minutes, mostly to wait for the analgesic cream to start working before the treatment.
Depending on the problem, it is necessary to do 1-3 treatments at intervals of 4 to 6 weeks, and complete results can be seen 6 months after the last treatment. The treatment is not performed during the summer months, nor on sunlit skin.
After treatment, redness and mild swelling are normal. For minor swelling, it is recommended to apply cold compresses.
The area of the skin where the laser pulse acted should be washed with lukewarm water – hot water could cause additional redness and swelling and thus prolong recovery.
Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun for at least 1-2 weeks after treatment.
In the skin regeneration process, you will notice how the skin acquires a seemingly wrinkled and rough texture. This is a normal phenomenon that you don’t need to worry about – such a texture is a short-term reaction to the formation of a new layer of skin.
Over a period of a week, the skin will take on a smooth texture, without traces of any action.
You can continue your activities on the same day, and depending on the doctor’s assessment, the treatment may need to be repeated 2-3 times.
