The process of preparing the skin for a chemical peel involves the use of products from the Zein Obagi® line or a combination of facial cleansers, retinoic acid creams and lightening creams that can be obtained by prescription at the pharmacy.

Before the peeling, the skin will be thoroughly cleansed and prepared for deep penetration. After that, a chemical peel is applied and, depending on the depth of penetration, a certain layer of the skin, epidermis and dermis is stimulated.
There may be a slight burning sensation or mild discomfort. The chemical solution is later rinsed and neutralized.
