This technique involves a small incision in the temple area. The surgeon then removes a small excess of skin, which results in the lifting of the eyebrows – primarily its outer edge. This type of surgery is less invasive and does not leave visible scars.
This type of surgery will be used when it is necessary to correct both eyebrows or when it comes to moderate to severe eyebrow drop with pronounced wrinkles and a high forehead.
During this procedure, general anesthesia will be used, and the surgeon will make one incision along the entire forehead line. By lifting the skin, he will get a better insight into the anatomy of the eyebrow muscles and also the muscles that will be lifted and strengthened. The incision is then closed with stitches.
Although this type of procedure is the most invasive, it allows us to easily correct the eyebrows, but also to lower the hairline that we consider high – forehead shortening surgery.
Surgeries usually take about 90 minutes.

After the operation, you will be placed in a recovery room where you will recover from the effects of anesthesia. When the effects of anesthesia wear off, we will release you for home care, which is usually the same day of the operation.
For the first 24 hours after surgery, you will wear a bandage on your forehead that will reduce swelling and bruising in the treated area.
Depending on the type of procedure, recovery can take between 7 and 14 days, after which you come back to us to remove stitches and clips. After removing the stitches, you can return to your daily activities.

Such conditions usually go away on their own, and the possibility of permanent nerve damage is very small.
