When we started Lohuis Filipović Medical Group, we also founded the Lohuis Filipović Academy to encourage colleagues to learn from our experience.
These resources offer physicians the opportunity to hone their knowledge and understanding of the profession and improve their skills and professional attitude.
At the Lohuis Filipović Medical Group clinic, young surgeons receive a full additional year of training in aesthetic and reconstructive facial plastic surgery and general plastic surgery, after completing basic education in otorhinolaryngology/head and neck surgery or general plastic surgery.
In recent years, the Lohuis Filipović Academy has organized several courses on several different topics to encourage colleagues to learn from our experience and discuss new treatments and innovative techniques.
We have translated our rich knowledge and experience into several medical books in our field:
Author: Peter JFM Lohuis, MD PhD
“I know of no other book that considers and describes in such exceptional detail topics as the learning curve on rhinoplasty, the Utrecht questionnaire and special problems. When I reviewed the references, I see that the author has read extensively and brought a huge amount of valuable information into the book. It is presented clearly, concisely and beautifully, not only in the form of photographs, diagrams and graphics, but in its intellectual integrity and clarity. It is one of the most valuable rhinoplasty textbooks I have had the privilege of reading.”
Peter A. Adamson, MD, FRCSC, FACS
Former President of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
Editors: Hade Vuyk and Peter JFM Lohuis, MD PhD
