otorhinolaryngology specialist, audiologist and phoniatrician
Jakov Ajduk is a specialist in otolaryngology at the Sestre milosrdnice Hospital Center, Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery. He is a subspecialist in audiology and phoniatrics.
He is an associate professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Zagreb. His specialty is otosurgery and audiology, for which he has trained in clinics around the world (Los Angeles, Washington, London, Hannover, Paris, Piacenza, Wurzburg…).
He is a reviewer in a number of scientific journals. He is the author of 35 scientific articles in international journals and four book chapters. He has been an invited speaker at a number of conferences. He is the Vice President of the Croatian Society for Audiology and Phoniatrics and the Vice President of the Section for Otology and Neuro-otology of the Croatian Society for Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery.
His main areas of interest are otosurgery and audiovestibulology.
He is trained in the surgical treatment of ear pathology (eardrum reconstruction (myringoplasty), middle ear diseases (tympanoplasty), stapedotomy, cochlear implant, implantable hearing aids, ear tumor surgery, lateral skull base pathology, etc.). He has particularly extensive experience in revision surgeries for ear diseases.
His specialty is the treatment and diagnosis of hearing and balance disorders.
